Compagnucci

Gasoline Powered Racer

These are no longer available.

The first thing different you will notice about the compagnucci car is   the way  it is packaged.  We've all grown used to the shiny, full cover boxes that all car kits are packaged in.  Well that has changed with the Compagnucci.   Instead of the worthless pretty box, the car come neatly packed in one of the nicest car tote bags I have ever scene.

The front of the bag unzips along the top in an arch shape revealing the machine.

Under the car lies the rest of this 100% complete package.

The charger and radio, it also has plenty of room for tools or whatever you want to carry along.

car1.jpg (95849 bytes) This is a 1/8th scale for wheel drive on road rocket.  It is powered by a .40 size "gasoline" not glo engine.  It make 1.35 hp at 17,500 rpm.  The car will run between 30 and 40 minutes on a tank of unleaded.  Speeds should be around 45mph and it should handle like a dream.  The suspension as well as the whole car was design by Italian full size car designer. (Ferrari, Alpha Romeo.)  When I drove one in Las Vegas it was great.  I can't wait to get some gas in them now that they are finally here.

Great looking Compagnucci wheels,  I believe other 1/8 scale wheels will fit.  I will try some Tamiya TGX wheels in the next couple of days and report back.

Next, I will add driving photos when I get to run the car.
